Can’t confirm what’s written below here, but I know what’s written here, nahmean?

Cuz, summer 2015 is just a continuation of summer 2012.

Fortune Mookies

Summer is upon us and the Big Juice is off the meat rack. Time to dump your job and quit your girl. Double sessions are easier to pull off when you’re free-bird.

Bronx Mayor Mega Mike knows this better than anybody. But, believe it or not, this Texas Freebird is actually two-timing at the moment…slanging ghetto pizza & poutine and settin up land-lubbers in recycling bins. So much so that according to him, he’s “got money coming out of (his) ears.”

I almost flipped my wig when I heard him talkin like a banker. I came back into orbit when he cracked the following fortune: “But, money isn’t everything. We only get one summer a year…and once it’s gone you can’t buy it back.”

But Mega’s much more than a deep thinker. His paddling technique is so sound that he could probably free-swim out to Big Joe. It’s gotten to the point where we’re pretty sure “water’s scared of the guy”. I guess that explains how he can bike out to China.

Never sail on a Friday

Chief Feathers summoned the other savages with a 12PM smoke signal. No, not the same smoke signals affecting the White Man’s tunnel transportation system. After much humming and hawing, it was agreed the wagon would part around 7PM to avoid speed detection by White Man with speed gun. A brick of Bud, Robaxacet, Life Brand flavoured nuts, 12 mix ‘n match sandwiches and quinoa salad are a modern tribe’s munch’ems.

Smoke Signal Rcvd: “We are in low and conditions look good. I am touring and you will arrive in perfect timing. HASTA PRONTO!%-”

Pow Wow No. 1:
*Marinated pork tenderloin
*Honey garlic sausages
*Garrison Bitter
*Philly cheese infused BBQ’d Sweet Pot’s
*Butter n Bacon fried mushies
*Sante Fe salad

Pow Wow No. 2:
*Langosta Parmesan dip
*Langosta a la sabor Peruana
*Mission Hill Pinot Grigio
*Arroz perfecta!
*Philly cheese infused BBQ’d Sweet Pot’s again
*Jost NS Port for dessert

With waves nearly as fun as the pow wow’s and time spent with El Ray y familia, we certainly thanked our mother’s for allowing the trip to transpire.

Leaked Photos

It’s been said that victims of oppression often internalize their oppression and in turn eventually oppress themselves. Well, in a society in which surveillance has become ubiquitous, normalized and unquestioned, we as citizens have, unwittingly, become our own oppressors.

Two questions:

Have cell phones become a social requirement?

Can you even get a cellphone anymore without photo/video capabilities?

With those two loaded questions out of the way, here are some forgotten photos from the phone I’m about to thoughtlessly discard.

The Yardlets

When the east, west and fresh coasts are pancake and the river is more iced-out than a Nun’s Island jewelry box, Sludge Soda Swillers opt for the obvious…getting soaked at a Yardlets show!

They play fast & hard and make you thankful for that water caught in your inner ear!

Sludge Soda Etiquette Rule # 1: When attending any form of social gathering (concert, party, pic-nic, etc.)  always bring your own chicas. It’s only polite.

Getting oiled up for the dance floor…

Sludge Soda Etiquette Rule # 2: Always be polite to celebrities even if you’re McGruff , you don’t have cable hooked up and you’re definitely not a fan of The Office….you never know, they might buy the next round!

Sludge Soda Etiquette Rule # 3: Always thank the chicas for footing the bill for your pepperoni poutines and pogos.
