Leaked Photos

It’s been said that victims of oppression often internalize their oppression and in turn eventually oppress themselves. Well, in a society in which surveillance has become ubiquitous, normalized and unquestioned, we as citizens have, unwittingly, become our own oppressors.

Two questions:

Have cell phones become a social requirement?

Can you even get a cellphone anymore without photo/video capabilities?

With those two loaded questions out of the way, here are some forgotten photos from the phone I’m about to thoughtlessly discard.

  1. Fret not discarding your old mobile, just the inability to adapt to touch screen buttons sized for people who can’t wrap their hands around a lychee.
